Weekend

I rarely drink alcohol these days, but if I drink, I go for champagne ;)

This weekend I spent like never before! First of all, with new job I rarely have Saturday and Sundays off. Second of all, I travel to city centre not so often, even thought it is not so far away from place where I live.

with my lovely Mom

My mother's visit was the best excuse to change that! We celebrate her birthday (happy birthday Mom! :*), went on a musical, drank champagne during our shopping and eat lots of good food.

Thriller musical at Lyric Theatre
wonderfully decorated Carnaby Street

After such intensive two days I am so happy and pleased. That was a really great break from (sometimes harsh) reality..

another glass of amazing champagne
our brunch at Grind Coffee Shop (Westfield Stratford) and healthy pouched egg sandwich

New arrivals and Personal Trainer

How is your Monday?
Mine was quite energetic with 30 minutes of cardio and happy surprise :) I started this week a pack from MyRevolution!

Now, I am-restock with new Better Bodies shaped jacket and whey protein :)

Better Bodies jacket - front
Better Bodies jacket - back
Jacket is fitting great and back logo is so fresh, perfect for spring! Beside that, zip is very practical.

And another thing which came today, and from which I am very happy is MyRevolution's Protein Pulver. There are whey supplements on the market, but with MyRevolution's products I know that I get the best quality!
This type of protein is whey one, which is quickly absorbed by the body - perfect for the recovery after sleep and training. MyRevolution's protein powder is mocca chocolate flavoured.

3kg of the best whey protein! :)

When and why do I use protein supplements?

*I use my proteins in the morning, to my oats - instead of dairy products who doesn't like chocolate flavoured oats? ;)
*I drink my second protein shake after heavy workouts on training days to help build muscles and enrich my daily food intake with good source of pure protein.
*I also use proteins for baking and to my protein coffee to have my daily foods/drink more nutrient value.
*Why 3 kilos? It  is more efficient to buy one big package than few smaller.

What to read more about protein powders?

Here you can read more about protein powders.

Something sweet - SweatLeaf stevia drops

My supplies have just been enhanced by Sweatleaf Stevia drops in new exciting tastes: cola, lemon, peppermint and hazelnut

stevia plant

Stevia is a natural sweetener with a characteristic strong, little bitter and sweet taste. It is 10-15 times sweeter that normal sugar.
Stevia can be use for baking, cooking, sweetening coffee/tea and so on. It has no calories and doesn't not influence blood level.
Stavia is selling in natural form (leafs), powdered and in a form of drops.

there are mny producers of stevia sweeteners, I have Sweet Leaf at home

Huge advantage of Stevia is that it is nor artificial product (comparing to aspartan and others) and that it can be processed in high temperatures, disadvantage might be that it taste differs a little from taste of sugar.

Flavoured variants of stevia are great way to sweetened your cottage cheese, bake delicious cake and break the routine.

Cola flavour - as producer suggest, adding few drops to sparkling water makes a refreshing drink. Taste is little bit more herbal than real cola for me.

Hazelnut flavour - my personal winner! Great for cottage cheese with other nuts.

Pepperminf flavour - the best for sweeteing tea and making refreshing cheese cake.

Lemon drop flavour - ideal for tea, drinks, water and quark. Brings spring :)

At home I have also English Toffee (yummy for cakes and baking in general) and chocolate (which I like the least).

Back on track!

Hello blog and my lovely followers!

sweaty after fatburning exercises sequence

I'm back in Oslo. Last 5 days were amazing, full of joy, love, partying and good food. It is hard to be back, but what can I do.

It is time to go back on track now!

I started my day super-healthy with a shot of Green Superfood. Is it good? No! ;) Is it healthy? Oh yesss!
It containes: alkalizing concentrated organic grass juices, alkalizing veggies, spirulina, and alkalizing sprouts.

After first part of my work I did also some interval training. Intensive 40 minutes with intervals on treadmill - 8 rounds of 1x1 intervals.
8 rounds: 1 minute high interval, 1 minute active rest

After that I did some fatburning sequence:
10xburpess
10xmountain climbers
10xpush ups
10xdips
10xjumping lunges

I did this in 3 rounds in a shortest possible time. Today it was 7 minutes 23 seconds. I hope that next time I will be able to do at least 5 rounds.

Now I've got a quick break before second part of my working day. Two personal trainings today, jupiii! :)

Saturday little shopping

today's newcomers

Walking through streets of Sofienberg (one of Oslo's districts) I made some little shopping in local supplements shop.

I bought a new product from Funksjonell Mat which is Sesame flour. This is fat reduced product from powdered sesame seeds. It contains 46% of protein and only 6% of carbs.
I am a big fan of sesam oil, so I can't wait to try these together in my kitchen.

Another thing was Fresh - a high energy and no calories drink with cherry flavour. This particular one contains guarana and Vinitrox. The last ingredients is claimed to increase blood flow to the muscles, that is why it can help with strength and endurance while trainings.

And the last thing is just simple protein bars from Protein Fabrikken. I really like their taste and the fact that they contains only 162 kcal per bar and 19g of proteins. Perfect for a little treat.

Winter desserts - protein cocoa

Happy Monday everyone! There is -15 degrees in Oslo right now and as far as I enjoy winter, the same I am enjoying my comfy home and warm drinks :)

Here is my recipe for warming, aromatic cocoa

you can use soy milk, almond/rice or normal cow milk instead
For a base I used soy milk with vanilla taste. Soy milk is easier to digest than traditional cow milk, it is also rich in proteins.

use raw cocoa, not the sweetened version like nesquick etc.

I add one scoop of unsweetened cocoa to the soya milk and boil it together. Natural cocoa doesn't dissolve so quickly, that is why heating might help. I also added scoop of Sukrin (sweetener) because cocoa itself is very bitter.

this espresso cup is perfect for preparing protein powder mouse which I will mix with cocoa

In smaller cup I dissolve one scoop of protein powder in a tiny amount of soya milk. Protein powder preferably should have chocolate flavour. I used Mocca-Chocolate MyoProtein from MyRevolution.

mix protein mouse with cocoa

Pour soya milk with cocoa to the glass and mix it with dissolved protein powder (don't boil protein powder).
it is the best when serving hot :)

Enjoy! :)

New arrivals

My new teas arrivals :) Pukka, Yogi and Twinings

New teas came to my collection today! While walking round Sofienberg I came into Sunkost shop.

I couldn't decide which flavour should I chose, that is why I bought some 'tea collections'.
teas variety, Yogi christimas teas and green teas selection from Twinings.

I am a huge tea lover! Especially white&green :)

And what is your favourite drink?

MyoProtein review

After two weeks of using I am finally able to write my review of MyoProtein protein powders.
I bought them from MyRevolution. There was special July offer and I've got 20% discount for buying tree 600g pacages in 3 different tastes. So I happily could taste Mocca Chocolate, Choco Peanut and Strawberry.

I have to admit, that the nutrition value is exqusitie! 85g whey and milk protein isolate, only 2g of carbs and 1,8g of fat.
I was little dissapointed with Choco Peanut taste. I hoped that there will be more like peanut butter taste mixed with chocolate. Unfortunately, peanut taste is imperceptible. Mocca Chocolate is the winner! Now I know why so many people reccomend it! :)

I summary my review in table below.
